    Europe head protection devices fall within the regulatory scope of PPE Regulation EU 2016/425 and belong (with a few exemptions) to the PPE-Category II(medium risks). These products may only be marketed if they are in compliance with the PPE regulation. 

     

    The regulation prescribes a CE marking of these products. The Conformity assessment procedure, conducted by the manufacturer on the basis of an EU-Type Examination Certificate issued by a European Notified Body, is the basis for this CE marking.
