Protection against the effects of striking against hard, stationary objects

Industrial bump caps EN812

Due to their construction and the lower shock absorption, bump caps are not used as protection against falling objects but as protection against the effects of striking against hard, stationary objects.

The test program is similar to that for the helmets but the requirements are lower:

*  shock absorption

* Resistance to penetration

* Chim strap anchorages

OPtional test are:

* Very low temperatures

* Electrical properties

* Flame resistance
