The 4th edition of ISO 11612 (protective clothing to protect against heat and flame — minimum performance requirements) has been registered as a Final Draft International Standard, ISO/FDIS 11612, and is now under formal approval. It will replace ISO 11612:2015.
Developed by ISO/TC 94/SC 13, the revision updates minimum performance requirements for clothing with limited flame spread properties and protection against radiant, convective or contact heat and molten metal splashes. Stakeholders should prepare for the transition once published.
